IRRS Out of Service

The server that host the encoding and delivery of my Internet Radio Relay Station (IRRS), which normally feeds San juan CERAP audio, is out of service due to a hardware failure. At this point, it is unknown when it will be back up. Will update this post as necessary.

Welcome to my upgraded website! It has gone through the process of upgrading the core from Joomla 1.0 to Joomla 1.5 and the usage of a new template. Also the website has been moved to another server.

The majority of the information has been upgraded and transferred successfully. However there are still some loose strings most of them related to custom code. I have already received feeback regarding the header picture :D. A person that I value her opinions a lot, think it looks narcist...ok, ok, in no way acknowledging I'm a narcist person, expect a header change in the upcoming days. ;)

After more than one month without flying, on Sunday, December 6th, 2009 returned to the yoke. This time brought Correy Shelly with me for a short ride from Isla Grande to Arecibo and back to Isla Grande.

My Private Pilot Practical Exam

After 64.7 hours and 1 year and 7 months of instruction and solo flights, the big day arrived on Friday, August 21st, 2009. The outcome was positive and yes, I earned my Aircraft Single Engine Land Private Pilot Certificate (also known as the Private Pilot License)! Hooah!

My Long Solo Cross Country! (w Video)

On March 18th I completed another milestone in my journey to become a Private Pilot: my long cross country flight. In my case, I was required to complete a flight of more than 100nm with full stop landings at three different airports. With the advise of my instructor, selected Mayaguez, Borinquen and Isla Grande as the airports.
